Each Hallows season, the Morwenne carve gourds into smiling faces, hollowing them out and filling them with candles lit by Wixxon flame.

These lanterns—called Hollow-Flame Lanterns—are wards of protection to keep your hearth and home safe.
Villagers say the carved faces confuse the spirits, while the blessed flame keeps the Ash-Taken from crossing the threshold.
No home dares go dark. Less they invite death to their door this season.
Keep your disguise on, walk with the flame and avoid what creeps in the Ashlands.
